History
Blackash was established to provide specialist bushfire planning expertise at a time when bushfire risk was becoming an increasingly important consideration within planning systems across Australia.

Since its establishment, the firm has worked across a broad range of projects including strategic planning, major developments, infrastructure planning and post-disaster recovery.
Blackash has also contributed to government initiatives and research aimed at improving bushfire risk management and planning outcomes. Our work spans both policy development and on-ground implementation, helping to bridge the gap between regulation, science and practical planning.
Through this work, Blackash continues to support clients navigating bushfire risk in environments where decisions often carry significant consequences for communities and the built environment.
